Hamilton
April 23, 2008
Ok time for pictures! (I resized them one by one hence the lack of a gigantous amount of pictures).
Just realised it’s autumn (already!) so this trip is called Autumn 2008. Anyway first batch of pictures is from the Hamilton leg. Yes there are legs and there are 4 legs in total. So berjaya right my holidays.
First day was spent sleeping in Chiann’s house cos we were waiting for the others to come down from Auckland and they didn’t get the rental car till like afternoon. =.= So no pictures of me sleeping. But at night we went to Balloons Over Waikato, which is one of main events held in Kampung Hamilton.
When they say balloons they don’t mean those type you buy at Kuching Fest. No siree! It’s hot air balloons:

Kan the hot air balloons so nice? And they fly too! It’s like that night they all come down at the uni’s padang and put up a lightshow. And there are fireworks afterwards as well. So cool la. *loves*
And there was this enthusiatic hot air balloon-er (what do you call them anyway). I think he loves the attention a lot.
By the way, Kashin, you’re forever at Balloon’s Over Waikato. But I dunno why security around you is so tight la cannot go near take pictures.

Fireworks! The ending so nice la I want.
Next day we went to Raglan Beach, which apparently is a *famous* black-sand beach. Hence the black and dirty looking pictures.

There were so many seashells on the beack it makes me wanna recite ’she sells sea shells by the sea shore’ over and over again. I made a star using only natural resources! *beams*

And the usual couple photo. ^_^ (My brother likes this smiley I dunno why)

On our way back we stopped at Bridal Veil Falls (or something like that). It’s wasn’t that great I think but it’s a long long way down is you happen to fall. Me no like.

Next day we went to Waitomo Caves to see caves and glowworms. No glowworm pictures because we can’t take pictures of them I dunno why. So there are only caves pictures which are so boring lalala.
But anyway the entrance to one of the caves so scary dunno why they don’t wanna build a lift and force us to spiral down instead. =.=

And here’s a group picture and a picture of me holding an umbrella inside the cave. No it wasn’t raining inside. Hee.

Ok that’s all tata! Omg blogging is so tiring I must be getting lazier and lazier.
Next post will be about Rotorua and Taupo!
If Kampung Hamilton has hot air balloons, how do u address places without them?
