Good One

April 27, 2009

During the Middle Ages, there were three noblemen squabbling over a piece of land. They eventually decided they would send one knight, with one squire to aid them. The last man standing would get the land.
Kingdom 1’s knight arrived the day before and spend the day training. Kingdom 2’s knight arrived the day before and spend the day getting wasted. Kingdom 3’s knight arrived the day before and did nothing. His squire, however, had a rope and a huge pot. He found the tallest tree, made a noose, and hung the giant pot from it.
The next day, Kingdom 1’s knight is too tired to fight, he sends his squire. Kingdom 2’s knight is too hungover, so he sends his squire. Kingdom 3’s knight was too lazy, so he sends his squire. One the way to the battlefield, Kingdom 1 and 2’s squires run into each other and lo and behold, they’re childhood friends. They decide to team up and take out the other squire and the knights and take the land themselves.
When they get to the battlefield, they find the third squire in the pot in the tree. Try as they might, they can’t seem to defeat him. Why?
Because the squire of the high-pot-in-noose is equal to the squires of the two other sides.

Probably the lamest joke I’ve ever heard.
